Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, with Father Michael Williamson officiating. Burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. TODAY and from 10 a.m. Thursday until service time. (Hopkins Lawver, AKRON, 330-733-6271)

Fritzi's life was like a song she wrote and her song will play on within our hearts.
"A life is like a song we write
In our own tone and key.
Each life we touch reflects a note
That forms the melody.
We choose the theme and chorus of
The song to bear our name,
And each will have a special sound...
No two can be the same.
So, when someone we love departs,
In memory we find,
Their song plays on, within the hearts
Of those they leave behind."
In loving memory of our wonderful sister. A life well lived and loved by many. She will be greatly missed.
Into the arms of God she went, in our hearts she will stay.
Rest in Peace, my beautiful sister.

A woman deeply loved and especially cared for by her devoted siblings, Willie, Elma & Carol is finally at rest in Gods' hands. A family is like the branches of a tree. Each grows in different directions, yet their roots remained as one. It is wonderful to watch each of you take care of one another no matter the distance in miles.

I have fond memories of Freda when we worked together at the University of Akron Computer Center. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. My sincere condolences to her family.
