I was able to play with Uncle Gary via Uncle Herbie. Herbie and Gary would come to the nursing home where I was healing and visit with me. I was honored that the 2 of them cared enough about me to put me into their schedule. I also introduced their Grand Grand, maybe another grand, nephew, Calvin to them and the 4 of us would hang out in the garage piddlin with things and I have some wonderful pictures of them and Calvin. He will not remember you as he is only 6 but I will cherish the times we had the 3 of us. I would call Uncle Herbie and say I was coming over, he then would call Uncle Gary and say Paula's coming over and he would then get in his car and drive to Herbies house so that he could see me. He, they, always made me feel special, something I will always remember. Paula Walker

Becky and Connie, Debi and Marcy,
I was thinking of you all and wondered how you were all doing, then I saw Gary's name in the paper on the same day. I am sorry for your loss. I remember him always quiet and smiling. I was your neighbor on Newton Street growing up.

For Gary's Family
I miss him already. Such a wonderful neighbor and a privilege to have known him. Yes, a bit old fashioned but that was one of the good qualities. Gary, I hope to see you and Betty again one day.

Dear Connie, after having read about what a fine man your dad was, I can only assume these traits come through your way. May God give you strength in the days to come. I too knew this exact loss, and may his memory be eternal. Em

Uncle Gary, I remember you so well as a kid. When you came to visit us, you always made me feel happy and safe. The years flew by and we didn't keep in touch. The last time I saw you was at my brothers memorial two years ago.
Even though the years have flown by , you were still the same sweet uncle that I remembered as a kid. Rest in peace Uncle Gary, I loved you very much... Debbie [ walker ] Baird
