Born in Akron, Ohio to Hattie (Mckinstry) Blackmon and Thomas Mckinstry, Sr., she has also been reunited with brothers, Oscar, Jerome and granddaughter, Keisha.
Her voice will be missed by husband, Thomas Draper; sons, Rashod, Deon, of Akron, Judah (Elizabeth) of California, Thomas, Virdel of Kentucky; daughters, Deborah, Teresa, Cynithia of Akron, Amber of Columbus; sisters, Barbara (Eddie), Margaret, Wilma, Betty, Alice, Selema, Tiffany of Akron, Agnes (Bobby), of Arizona; brothers, Thomas (Teresa), Emmanuel (Antionette), Tony of Akron; twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, god children, Deanna, Marlon, Aquila, Nicole, Tony, Renee, Crystal, Melissa, Erica; special niece, Alisa; a host of other relatives and friends.
Reuniting services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., Rev. Bennie Williams eulogizing, Dr. Lorenzo Fincher officiating. Friends may call at the chapel on Saturday from 12:30 until time of service. Private interment later. Condolences may be sent to 582 Elbon, 44306 or 1335 Sweitzer Ave., 44301.
