Grace Howard Obituary

Grace E. Howard

KENT Grace E. Howard, 73, of Columbia, Md., died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia.

She was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Kent, to Arlie and Gertrude (Bach tel) Leininger. She was retired from B.F. Goodrich, where she had worked as a keypunch operator. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Florida, where she had lived after her retirement.

Survivors include her son, Gary (Susan) Howard of Drummonds, Tenn.; daughters, Christine (Tom) Garver of Columbia, Md., and Virginia "Ginny" Hylton of Brimfield; six grandchildren, Matthew Garver, Gary Howard, Gabriel Howard, William Howard, Debbie Howard, and Amber Miller; six great-grandchil dren; brother, Merlin Leininger of Rio Ranchero, N.M.; and sister, Lois Collard of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent, with Rev. Kay Dunlap officiat ing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. (Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, 330-673-5857.)
