(nee Papp)
WADSWORTH -- Heather Marie Duong, (nee Papp), 36, of Wadsworth, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at her residence.
Born December 8, 1981 in Barberton to Karl Anthony "Kap" and
Deborah Ann (Wolf) Papp of Barberton. She was a graduate of Barberton High School Class of 2000, attended Ashland University, and graduated from The University of Akron College of Nursing where she was active in her Alpha Phi sorority. She was a Registered Nurse most of her career in Labor and Delivery and the ER at MetroHealth in Cleveland, and most recently worked in Public Schools as a Nurse for Akron Childrens Hospital, and was President of Lincoln Elementary PTO . She dearly loved her family and liked to invest her time in her children and community, loved with all she had, was the first to help a friend with any need, and was a peacemaker.
Survived by her dear husband; Tuan Ngoc Duong; five children;
Hailey, Abbey, Olivia, Evan, and Kennedy; her parents; brother; Adam (Ashley) Papp of Barberton; sister; Holly
(Cameron) Flack of Wooster; grandmother, Laverne Wolf; grandfather, Karl Papp both of Barberton, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rita Claire Papp and grandfather, Raymond Henry Wolf.
Visitation 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018, with a Celebration of Life Service at 6 pm at Grace Church, 3970 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd, Norton, OH 44203, with Pastor Robert Combs and Pastor Daniel Gregory officiating. Memorial contributions to the Garage Ministry in Wadsworth.
