Mrs. Moore was born Feb. 14, 1908, in Fouke, Ark. She worked during World War II at Goodyear Aircraft as a secretary in the Airdock with her trusty umbrella. She was a retired office manager for Acoustical Tile Co. in Tulsa, a member of the Tulsa Methodist Church, and past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Circle Chapter 1964.
Born to John and Minnie Traylor, she was preceded in death by sister, Edith Tray-lor; brother, Clark Traylor; husbands, Jay Briggs and Cecil Moore; and her beloved son, Richard G. Briggs.
Survivors include two sisters, Minnie Lee Hesskew and Beryl Orr of Texarkana; brother, Bill (Mildred) Traylor of Washington State; grandsons, Jay Richard Briggs of Canal Fulton, Ohio, and Les (Candy) Briggs of Massillon, Ohio; beloved daughter-in-law, Marilyn J. Briggs; and a host of other relatives. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. Memorials are to be made to the Alzheimer's Alliance-Texarkana Area, P.O. Box 7812, Texarkana, Texas 75505-7812.
