James A. Babcock, 58, of Wooster, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007.
James was born on March 7, 1949 to James L. and Dorothy (Pahler) Babcock in Akron. He was a graduate of Akron North High School and the University of Akron. He ws currently employed by Castle Aviation.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Sweiger) Nathaniel; sons, James ``Jimmy" of Columbus, and Ryan of Arizona; stepson, Alexander Nathaniel of the home; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ray Stalnaker of Cuyahoga Falls; brothers, William Babcock of Mansfield, Thomas Babcock of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Andrew.
Services Monday, 1 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster. Visitation Sunday, 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to either The Salvation Army Wooster Coprs, 437 S. Market St., Wooster, OH 44691 or American Red Cross, Wayne County Chapter, 140 S. Walnut St., Wooster, OH 44691. Words of condolence may be made to the family www.MEM.com.
