James Epling Obituary
James C. Epling, age 88, of Akron, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 in Brooksville, Florida.
Jim was born June 5, 1926 in Spencer, West Virginia to the late Eugene and Mae (Stein) Epling. He was a Machinist at Kent Machine for many years. Jim was a very handy individual; he was a wood worker and enjoyed building furniture in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife, the former Edna Warner; his daughter, Carol Johnson Mitchell, and his sons, Jim (Diane) Epling, and Harold D. (Flo) McAbee; four grandchildren, LaLonnie Johnson (Darien) White, Heather McAbee, Bobby Cumpston, Dennis McCulvey; and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 811 Grant St. in Akron. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Entombment at Hillside Memorial Park. Visit www.dunn-quigley.com to share memories and condolences on Jim's Book of Memories.

I did not sign my condolence about Uncle Jake and now I find that Aunt Edna has passed away. They were fun people when I was around them. He gave me the fastest ride down Egypt Ridge in his old 48 Pontiac (I think it was)

Uncle Jake (as we knew him) was one of my favorite relatives. Although I have not visited with him and Edna for years I remember growing up around them and his family in Akron Ohio.
My condolences to Aunt Edna and the family.
