Jason Maurer Obituary

Jason Bryan Maurer, born September 25, 1975, passed away unexpectedly June 5, 2021. He leaves behind his mother, Pam; brother, Adam (Amanda); nephews, Brayden and Blayne; niece, Brooklyn and maternal grandmother, Judith Parish. Jason was also surrounded by a large and loving family of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory; his infant brothers, Eric and Kurt; his uncle, John, and grandparents, Josephine and Lawrence Maurer. Jason served as a part-time fireman/EMT with Copley Township, as a construction safety coordinator and as an EMT/supervisor with several emergency transport companies. He loved volunteering his time and talents at the Weathervane Playhouse. His heart was truly bigger than he was. This was made clear as his last wishes were to help others live on through organ donation. The family requests that any donations be made to Weathervane Playhouse or Lifebanc of Ohio. Private services and burial have taken place. To share a memory or send a condolence, please visit www.silva-hostetler.com
