Jerry Nott Obituary
BARBERTON -- Jerry R. Nott, age 82, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 15, 2015.
Jerry was born on November 11, 1932 in Glouster, OH to the late Ray and Lillian (Graham) Nott. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, entering when he was 15 years old. He retired from the Ohio Brass Co. after 33 years of service, and was a school crossing guard for the city of Barberton for 22 years. Jerry repaired televisions for many people for over 30 years, and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1066 and the Barberton Moose Lodge #759.
Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melinda Ann; a brother and two sisters; he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Iris; sons, Jerry Jr. (Nancy L.) Nott of Norton, Randy Nott of Barberton; grandchildren, Brittany (Jason) Bruce, Jason (Nikki) Nott, Jerad Nott (fiancé, Sarah Evans); great -grandchildren, Aaron Bruce and Allison Nott; one brother; six sisters; many other family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Doylestown Health Care for their wonderful care of Jerry.
There are no services. A private interment with military honors will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com

Sis, Little Jerry, Randy and family, so sorry for your loss. He is not suffering any more and he is up there keeping Aunt Mable in line. So many memories of all of us together on Christmas Eve when we were young and the weekend we spent in a cabin in Gloucester with you guys. Iris, we are so sorry to hear about Jerry. I have a lot of childhood memories of him. He always seem to make us laugh and we were always welcome in your home. He will be missed greatly. You will be in our hearts and prayers.
