John Richard Gangle, 78, of Barberton, passed away suddenly on May 27, 2006.
John was born on June 21, 1927 in Sharon Center, Ohio. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. John started his own business in 1950 and worked in Copley for many years.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Betty E. Gangle; parents, George and Eva Gangle; son, Robert Gangle. He is survived by his children, Butch (Joan) Gangle of Copley, Pam Gangle of Barberton, Mick Gangle of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Shelley, Richard (Dawn), Mark (Diane), Jess, Matthew (Catherine), Jon, Devin, Kari; great-grandchildren, Kara, Brandon, Rich, Devin, Kyle, Katie, Matthew. He also leaves behind his loving companion, Marilou Escott of Minerva.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2006, 12 NOON at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY, 3475 Copley Road. Interment in the Lakewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home TODAY from 5 to 8 p.m.
