John Tucker Obituary

John H. Tucker was born December 5, 1931 in Russellville, Ala. He passed away February 13, 2011 at Akron City Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 at 12 noon at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., with Rev. Dr. Luther C. Cooper officiating. Friends may call at the chapel on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1138 Wyley Ave., 44306

My sincerest condolences go out to the Tucker Family. I do not have the words to comfort you in this hour of mourning! Mr. Tucker was good to me when I was a young man growing up in Akron and I will never forget his unerring way of telling you what you needed to hear in a manner that was gentle and elegant in its simplicity.

May GOD grant the entire Tucker Family peace in this time of profound sadness. Mrs. Tucker and Rodney I send my thoughts and prayers to you today.
