I think of my grandfather all through the year

Because he was always filled with cheer

He probably was considered my very best friend

And I wish he was with me until the end

Dear grandfather wherever you may be

Just remember to think of me

Dear grandfather I love you so

More than you could ever know

Dear grandfather I miss you much

Only if I could have just one more touch

Oh grandfather if only you were here

Things might be even more clear

And so grandfather I come to say

That even though you have gone away

I'll love you until my dying day.

I wish you were somehow here again,

But I know you can't. You will always be in my heart and mind forever

and always.

If I had one chance to have you back I would sit you down and tell

you how much I love you and want you to stay.

I like all those memories we had together; they will always be in my

mind and heart forever and always.

I love you and miss you, goodbye. See you in heaven, soon in the future.

I love you, Grandpa
