Josephine Vaughn Obituary
Josephine E. Vaughn, 96, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born March 6, 1921, in Bay Village, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Vaughn; parents, Jack and Marion Dagg (Reed); and brothers, Calvin Dagg and Dalton Dagg. She is survived by her daughter, Gay (Vaughn) and son-in-law, Harry Himelright; sister, Kathryn (Dagg) Boylan of Capistrano Beach; grandchildren, Justin, Kevin and Brian; and great-grandchildren, Emerson and Liliana.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Billow Falls Chapel, 1907 23rd St. (corner of 23rd St. and Falls Ave.) with Rev. Mike Marette officiating. Interment at Sullivan Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Summit Community Church, 2960 Bailey Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Josephine was a true treasure and I was privileged to have her as my friend. The time we spent together will stay with me forever. She made me a better person. I loved her stories of growing up and her family. Thank you for sharing her with Joe and me. God bless you I know she's happy and whole. I will see her again.
