Judith Lytle Obituary

Judith Elaine Maxwell Lytle

Judith (Judy) Elaine Maxwell Lytle passed away in hospice care in Delray Beach, Florida on July 2, 2015. She was born to Albert B. Maxwell and Macel C. Riser Maxwell in Steubenville, Ohio on October 30, 1939.

She was an active loving gentle person with a great sense of humor and we lost her far too soon. She touched many hearts and will be greatly missed. Judy was raised in Dennison, Ohio and graduated from Dennison High School in 1957. She went on to a 50+ year accounting career in small businesses. She was a trusted employee with a long tenure at several businesses in Ohio and Florida. She built wonderful friendships throughout life that she maintained for decades. In 1978 she married Verne Lytle in Akron, Ohio. They moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1986 and then to Delray Beach in 1994. Judy and Verne made a great team and they loved the Lord, their life, family and many friends. Judy was a 20+ year member of the First Christian Church in Wilton Manors, FL. She was a prayer warrior, praying for everyone she loved and those less fortunate.

Judy is survived by her husband, Verne Lytle; her sister, Marlene Huneycutt (Ron) of Charlotte, NC; her niece, Gretchen Bishop (Dana) and great-niece, Shannon Yoder of Lagrange, Ohio; her stepsons, Michael Lytle and Christopher Lytle; daughter-in-law, Dionne Deardorff and grandchildren, Shawn Lytle and Sabrina Lytle all of Akron, Ohio; brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, Andy Lytle (Sandy), Kirk Lytle (Patty) and Craig Lytle and nieces and nephews in North Carolina, Florida and Ohio. She is also survived by one uncle and many dear cousins and their families.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 11, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dr. John Stauffer officiating at the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors, 2725 NE 14th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334. A reception follows at the church. Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army of Palm Beach County, 2100 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. West Palm Beach, FL 33409. www.allcounty.com
