Kathryn Emmitt Obituary
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 68 years, Richard D. Emmitt of Virginia Beach, Virginia; sons, William R. Emmitt and wife Ann of Tallmadge and David P. Emmitt and wife Gail of Stow; daughter, Mary Elizabeth North and husband Walter of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Michael Emmitt, Kristin Lally, Timothy Emmitt, Rebecca Emmitt, Amanda Ball, and Sarah North; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Bayside Christian Church in Virginia Beach, with a visitation Friday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held in Tallmadge at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of your choice.
