Don and Mrs Zekan I'm shocked to hear of Lauries passing...I don't know what even led me to the obituary...just dumb luck. She was a wonderful girl and I hope you will find comfort that she really did have the biggest heart and she did help alot of people.
I was also sad to see that Janelle Sanders had passed....way too young. My heart goes out to Larry and Steve.

Don & The Zekan Family,My deepest sympathy and prayers to you all for the loss of Laurie. I had many happy days in W.Akron spending time with Laurie when we were younger. I will never forget her beauty inside and out. It was a true joy to have known her. God Bless

I was so thrilled to meet up with Laurie on Facebook a few years ago. She posted the most lovely pictures! I always enjoyed chatting back and forth with her. We went to Fairlawn Grade School together. Now she and our friend, Janelle Sanders Kouri are reunited and watching over the rest of us until God calls us home as well. Love you always, my friend. Rest in heavenly peace!

So very sad to hear but comforted by the fact that she is no longer suffering. I will always remember the fun, happy Laurie she was in high school and hope she rests in peace. My condolences to the whole family.
