Lenore P. Ramsey

Lenore P. Ramsey, 90, formerly of Pleasant Avenue, Kent, and recently of Stow Glen Retirement Village, Stow, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2004, at Ak ron City Hospital.

She was born June 7, 1913, in Middletown, to Fred W. and Kittie Luwella (Pettit) Leib. She was a secretary for Purolator on West Main from 1957 to 1960; Highway Products from 1960 to 1963; and for Davey Tree from 1972 to 1975. She was a member of Sweet Adelines for 17 years; the Order of the Eastern Star Olive Chapter 53 for 40 years, Women of the Evangelical Lu theran Church of America; Trini ty Lutheran Church; and the ADRDA (an Alzheimer's Disease support group).

Survivors include her son, Lloyd Jerry (Maria) Ramsey of Strongsville; daughters, Lynne (John) Feola of Uniontown, Lee L. (Jack) Boyett of Malvern, Pa., and Lorraine (Walter) Davis of Kent; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, in 1992; by brother, Fred Leib; and sister, Luella Pratt.

Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Elizabeth M. Hazelton of ficiating. Burial will be at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
