Leonard Tunstall Obituary
Leonard A. Tunstall, 90, passed away September 6, 2018. He was born September 16, 1927 in Akron, the son of the late Arnold and Doris (Cain) Tunstall. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He later retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after a long career.
Leonard was an active member of First United Methodist Church, a Boy Scout Leader, and he loved sailing. He regularly thought of others by being an active blood donor at the Red Cross.
In addition to his parents; Leonard was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Ruth Tunstall. He is survived by his wife, Betty Tunstall; four children, Stephen (Sue), John (Karen), and Christopher (Kim) Tunstall, and Jennifer (Vince) Zeigler; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Adams Mason Funeral Home, (791 East Market Street), where funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Dr. Leonard Budd will officiate. Interment Hillside Memorial Park. Chris and family, I was so sorry to hear of your dads passing. I will always remember our visit in July. It was a wonderful surprise to see you and Leonard. I will treasure that memory. Jenny and Leonard were such good friends with my mom and dad.at Lakeside. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Your dad was a good man and friend.

Leonard was the kindest person I have ever known. He lived his life by example and Leonard loved his family unconditionally. He listened to other people's ideas with empathy and without judgment. Blessings on his next great adventure.
