I found out about Mark's passing through an email from a mutual friend...Ladd Lambert. Ladd and Mark were neighbors and good friends for many years. When I moved to Long Beach in the mid 90's, I lost touch with Ladd and Mark. I got back in touch with Ladd in the summer of 2015 and asked about Mark and where he was living. Ladd said he had lost touch with him after Mark moved away from Laguna Niguel. Mark and I met in the late 80's and became good friends and did some traveling together. Mark was a lot of fun and always the life of the party. He had a loving heart and always helped a friend in need. At one point, I needed a place to live because of a bad roommate situation and he offered his extra bedroom in Laguna Niguel until I could find another place to live. Mark and I went on a 7 day cruise on the S.S. Norway in the early 90's and had a blast!! He loved the sun and he loved to travel! I will always hold a special place in my heart for him...he was "one in a million." RIP sweet Prince!!

I met Mark in Ann Arbor MI~ 35 years ago while I was studying at the U of M .He was working at a country club as a manager and we had many friends and acquaintances in common. Certainly those were great memories for all of us . So strange,I had not heard or seen Mark for more than 3 decades and tonight from Italy, where I have been living for the past 25 years, I thought of him. I googled his name and found this sad news .He passed on my birthday .My best to his family !Thomas

Sailed up the Gulf of Aqaba with him.
On the wrong boat! Happy memories, he was good company. The English lads miss him. Cheered everybody up. God bless you Mark.

As Mark' sister, I have been very busy tying up the loose ends of Mark's life. Mark was unique and his quirks are admired now in his passing......................I understand him better than ever before. I truly wish Mark peace. And I wish to let everyone who reads this page know that he did indeed pass away with a smile on his face! God Bless you Mark.
