Mary Kovachick Obituary
Mary Kovachick, 91, of Springfield Township, fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Akron City Hospital.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church where the body will lie in state one hour prior to service, Rev. Fr. Nicholas Wyslutsky officiating. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery. The family will receive friends TODAY, 4 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS), where a Parastas service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the St. Nicholas Cemetery Fund. My thoughts and prayers to each of you. I had the honor to meet your wonderful family while Mary was on 7 west. I so enjoyed seeing her eating her coconut creme pie that evening !! I knew she is keeping watch over all of you now. God Bless.

Dear Mr Kovachick and Mr. and Mrs. Fraley, We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. WHAT a WONDERFUL women she was. She was SO KIND to my mom when my mom and she were roomies at Pebble Creek Nursing Home. My mom talks of her a lot! Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Paul & Patty (and families), I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I have many fond memories of Mary - especially being at her house and watching her make home made noodles. She was a very special lady and will be sadly missed. She is at rest now. Lean on your faith, family & friends during this time. You are in my prayers.
