Born Dec. 9, 1920, in Akron, to John and Josephine (Cleaver) Woodward, she moved to Lakeland in 1958. She was a graduate of the University of Akron and a life member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
Mrs. Weight is survived by a sister, Barbara (Dick) Schneider of Chapin, S.C., and was predeceased by husband, Robert Weight.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Aug. 28, at 2:30 p.m., at Carpenters Home Estates in Lakeland, Fla., with a reception following. Interment will follow on Monday at 10 a.m. at Lakeland Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Carpenters Home Estates, 1001 Carpenters Way, Lakeland, Fla. 33809, or the charity of your choice. (Heath Funeral Chapel, Lakeland, Fla.)
