Michael Evans Obituary

Michael Evans, 54, of Rittman, passed away November 24, 2010 at the Medina County Hospice Center.

Michael was born in Wadsworth, Ohio and attended Wadsworth Schools. He was employed by Seville Bronze for 37 years. He was a loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns and in his free time he loved attending auctions, fishing, and camping. Mike blessed everyone around him with his kindness and extraordinary sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Evans and nephews, Rick Hewlett and Robert Bailey Jr. Michael is survived by his wife, Rhonda; son, Michael Evans, Jr. (Amanda); grandson, Cameron; sisters, Dorothy (Robert) Bailey of Norton, Rita (Les) Bales of Wadsworth, Mary (Don) Shoup of Doylestown; brother, David Evans of Tampa, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 28th from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth 44281. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 29th, at 11 a.m. also at Hilliard Rospert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 100 High Point Drive, Medina, Ohio 44256. Hilliard-Rospert

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I did not know him personally, but he was my ex-son-in-law's brother and Grandchildren's uncle. They talked very lovingly about him. Just know, he is in a better place, even if that means he is not with you in body, but will always be in your hearts and spirit. God bless all of you. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Mike was a very cool uncle even though i didn't get to be around him as much as i wish i could of been every time we talked on the phone or i visited Ohio he mad me feel like I was always around.Uncle Mike you will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was one of my dad's (John Mitchell) best friends his whole life. I will always have the fondest memories of Mike and what a gentle man he was. I am sure Mike and my dad are fishing and watching the Browns games from up above. Your family is in my prayers.

Mike was my first friend.
He brought me my first Easter basket when I was a baby,
when I was grown, he helped me move out of state for college.
