Michael McDevitt Obituary
Michael (Mac) McDevitt, 71, retired CEO of Summit Federal Credit Union died on 8/8/2013.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Lisa, Vicki, and Micaela; grandchildren, Jennifer, Andres, Alex, Amelia and Caden; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Lucas; siblings, Mark, Jack and Willie Mae; sister-in-law, Teri; and nephews, Keegan and Kyle.
Memorial service will be held on 8/19/13 at Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron at 3600 Morewood Rd., Fairlawn, at 11:30 a.m. with visiting at 10:30. In lieu of flowers donations to: aultmanfoundation.org (Hospice) or akronlibrary.org (Green Branch).

I will never forget Mac's amazing hugs--the kind that let you know you are loved and cared about. Heaven has a wonderful angel in Mac McDevitt--no doubt he is making sure Heaven's credit union is running smoothly. Missing him bunches. Love, Micaela, Chuck, Amelia and Caden.

It is with a heavy heart that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so sorry for your loss. You and Mac were such an important part of our lives for many years. Barb and Family,
As you know I have known Mac for several decades. But that time pales against the wonderful times Libby and I have spent with you the last couple of years. Mac was a man of integrity, opinion and character. Poet Antonio Porchia said "One lives in the hope of becoming a memory." Thank you for so many wonderful memories Mac.
