Michael Lee Smith

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Michael Lee Smith, 37, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2021. Mike was born in Akron on December 17, 1983 to to James Smith and Camille Phillips. He attended Woodridge High School and was currently employed as assistant manager at the Tallmadge Speedway. He was an avid gamer and went by the handle, 'Shockwave'. Mike was preceded in death by his father James. He is survived by his mother Camille Phillips; daughter Chloe Smith; brother Jason (Kileen) and sisters Candice Smith and Marsha (T.J.) Morgan; uncle Raymond Smith; nephews Cameron and Austin Smith. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Northampton Cemetery.
