Nancy Halpin Obituary
She was the beautiful and loving wife of Mark; devoted daughter of Estelle and Anthony Maimone (deceased) and daughter-in-law of Ruth and Charles Halpin (deceased); cherished sister of Tony (Miry), Frank (Gail), Margo King (Joe), Marilyn Mormile (Allen), and Joe; adored sister-in-law of Jack (Donna), Ann Roeder (Michael), Sue Sarstedt, Joan Fedor, Joey Halpin, Kathy Francescani (Peter), and Bob Halpin; loving aunt to Milo, Adam, Nathan, Justin, Tiffany, Mario, Angelica, Heather, Carrie, Sarah, Ben, Alex, Tom, Jessica, Jen, Jeff, Joe, Kelly, Leah and Nick; treasured great-aunt to many; loving owner to Sadie, her precious cat.
Nancy fought a long, hard battle with breast cancer. She was our warrior, our hero and now our angel. May she rest in the peace she well deserves.
Friends may call at GOLUBSKI DELIBERATO FUNERAL HOME, 4747 TURNEY RD., COR. GARFIELD BLVD., where service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. and at St. Monica Church at 10 a.m. Interment at All Saints Cemetery. VISITATION SUNDAY, 4 to 8 p.m. Online condolences may be submitted at GDFH.net.

If you are in need of anything, just ask. Nancy will be, to me, a model of courage, perseverance, and humility now and always. If anyone stands as an example of how to live out a life, it is Nancy. Dear Mark & The Maimone Family,
I am so sorry to hear the loss of Nancy. I knew her and her family from growing up accross the street from them on 131st and spending much time over there. She was a very sweet girl that will always be remembered. Our thoughts are with the whole family and I am sorry we could not attend the services.

I can't understand why she is gone, or why this happened to her in the first place. She was so full of life and strong... and braver than many of us! I am so very sad, and only relieved that her pain is over.

We prayed many times for Nancy during our bible studies with Frank and Gail and know that she is in the arms of Jesus. To Mark and all the Maimone Family,
Any loss of a loved one is difficult and more so when that person is as wonderful as Nancy.
I looked through old family photos yesteday and found one of Nancy catching the bouquet at my wedding. A cherished memory for sure.
There is one more angel above us now.
