Nancy Phillips Obituary
Phillips
Nancy Caroline Birk Phillips went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24. She died com fortably and peacefully at home under the care of family and friends.
She gradu ated from Bolivar High School and received her nursing degree from Akron City Hospital. She retired an RN in 1991.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ludwig and Dorothy Birk, and brother, Joseph Birk. She is survived by daughter, Patricia Phillips (Greg); son, Thomas Phillips (Valerie); daughter, Bethanie Phillips; son, John David Lathan; grand children, Brandon (Renee), Kristen, Wesley, Gabrielle, Isaac, Samone, Isabella, Teon na; sister-in-law, Mary Birk; best friend, Mary Lou DeVore.
Those who would like to sign the guest register book may do so at www.leboldfuneral home.com. Cremation has tak en place. A committal of ashes will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. graveside at Ft. Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar, Ohio. Condolences in Mom's memory may be sent to 896 Clement St., Akron, Ohio 44306. (330- 618-6741.)

Sorry to hear about your loss. Ms. Nancy was a courageous and caring woman. I only knew her for a short time, but I always thought about her and how she could make anyone feel comfortable around her.
