To the Lucas and Brown Families:
Words can not express the joy that Nedra brought to the classes I shared with her at University of Akron. We had many classes together, and sat next to each other at graduation. Along with being a close neighbor down the street in Akron. I read the notice during the last days before I left for winter break from teaching, myself. I have many fond memories of her early morning energy and positive encouragement towards myself and others. Nedra was always celebrating life. Now she can make others smile somewhere else. My fond memories of Nedra are now yours too.

To Nedra's family-our prayers and love go out to you. I cheered with Nedra at St. V and have many fond memories of games and cheerleading camp with her. Her smile and enthusiasm were contagious. She has obviously touched the lives of many.
Sincerely,

To the Brown/Lucas Families,
I went to Highschool at St. V-M with Nedra and have great memories of her smile and great personality! I think she was in all my classes over the years! My thoughts and prayers will be with your family over the holidays! I have had Nedra on my mind since i read the article in the Akron Beacon Journal on Wed. No words can ease your pain right now, just know she touched many, many lives and will be greatly missed!
