Patrick Eugene McCrackin

1960 - 2021

Patrick Eugene McCrackin, 60, of Tallmadge, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home, January 26, 2021. He was born December 12, 1960, in Akron, Ohio. He was the son of Betty Pipes and the late Don "Mac" McCrackin. Raised in Stow, he completed his senior year in Coshocton and joined the Ohio National Guard there, serving for 13 years. Pat then worked as a welder in Akron, and later retired in 2017, from the Stow/Munroe Falls School District, after 20 years of service. His immediately family always looked forward to his visits on holidays and special occasions. Pat always liked meeting up with his Cousin, Bobby for dinner. He enjoyed many years of cross-country motorcycle trips, with life-long friend, John. Pat treasured spending time and having travel adventures with friends Cliff, Beth, and family. Pat's quick wit and unique sense of humor was certainly well known! He loved outdoor activities along with his sports car and sports car events with friends. Pat was always a cat lover. His cherished cats, "Lex" and "Ludwig" will truly miss him. He was known for his kindness and generosity to family and friends. He was always devoted and ready to help in any way at any time, and in doing so, it gave him great joy. He will always be remembered for his kind and compassionate spirit. Pat is survived by his Mother, Betty (Gene) Pipes, Fresno, OH; Sister, Debbie (Gary) Rantz, Fresno, OH; Sister, Tammy Meighen, West Lafayette, OH; Step-sister, Dee Anna Pipes, Phoenix, Arizona; many cousins, nieces/great nieces, nephews/great nephews, and life-long friends.
