BARBERTON -- Paul E. Swaino Jr., 78, passed away July 4, 2015.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling hours TODAY from 5 to 8 p.m., with the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Thursday at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Augustine Church.

Tomorrow will be 6 years since mom´s and all three of us kid´s and ALL who knew life changed so SUDDENLY. We all MISS you so MUCH Dad. As soon as my eyes open each day I tell you how much I miss you; along with ALL OUR Family that have gone to heaven. I MISS them ALL. You still give me the drive and passion to PUSH thru the tough times and the STRENGTH to care for mom the best I can. THANK YOU again for a GREAT life and the KICK IN THE PANTS when I needed it.

So many things to say so MANY GREAT memories Dad. I'll miss coming to see you and finding out what the NEXT project you've been milling around in your mind will be. You were ALWAYS thinking. We sat around the other night MARVELING about how a man with only a High School education could have SO MUCH knowledge. You knew if you didn't know something you surrounded your self with GREAT people.....Mike Snyder Mel Chandler Al Pramuka so many more and you learned from them. When it came to life love and family you learned from Grandma and Grandpa. You were also a Great teacher. I've learned so much from you. We are going CELEBRATE you again today. But it won't stop today. I'll be celebrating and thinking of you the rest of my life. we will ALL MISS you till we see you again in heaven!!!! LOVE YOU Dad

I am so sorry that I didn't see this sooner. So many memories flood me. The motor home, camping, being kids, having a grand old time. I spent a lot of my childhood with you guys, our two families coming together as one big family.
I know what you are all going through. It's coming up on one year without mom (August 12) and 18 years without dad (July 25), and still, it feels like yesterday that we were having fish fries and living life to the fullest.
There are few words to comfort, just know that peace has come to Paul. He's still living it up, just higher up.
I will never forget how he always made me giggle:
Me: guess who I saw today?
