I miss your phone calls, and I miss your laugh. I miss watching you play with the kids, and I miss hearing your voice. Most of all I miss seeing your face. I wish I could talk to you just one more time to tell you how much you mean to me. I love you, brother. We have all had some pretty rough days this past year. We're still stunned and hurt over losing you. Our faith and our family keep us together these days. Until God brings us to you...

Philip was a true celebration. His unwaivering belief in God. His contagious laughter. Philip phone club. Much, much more. Love is stronger than death. "Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable." - Helen Keller

Hi Philip,

Just thinking about you. No words can express what I feel right now. Miss you alot though.

What was I thinking in my last entry... It wouldn't be a car .. (silly me!) It would be a motorcycle. If those material things even exist in heaven. Something tells me they may not.

Anyway,, Miss you. Love you. PEACE be with you. Laura

(Brother) Phil, (Hey, we're the same age!! ha ha my twin!) Thanks for all the hours of advice, hours of laughter and being my bestest friend when we were children, through elementary, jr high and most of high school and so many times after that!! :-) You will always be an inspiration (and an angel) to me! Appreciate all the poems and songs you'd write yourself, read to me, let me read or give me!! It was so joyous and admirable. God gave you so many wonderful gifts to share with us. I'll miss that for a while and will always remember!!! God must have Blessed you for being strong through your rugged trials of life yet still keeping you REAL!!! I thank God for that! I always wondered How YOU managed it all!! You had a real mind and soul from God-that's how! Thank God for sharing a human being so special with me and many others. Now you can Rest in Gods arms without being judged here on earth! Peace be with you now. Oh, always remember to "Keep your sense of humor!!!" I hope your up there driving a nice car now!!

I Love you very much. Sister Laura

Dearest Family & Friends:

Your hundreds of ways giving all of us your love and support is greatly appreciated. Philip showed enough love and support to his sister and I that our lives could not be richer! Faith is a beautiful blessing just like Philip was to his family. I did see him in Heaven along side his gracious Grandpa Abood enveloped in the arms of his Grandma Abood--her smile went from ear to ear as it always did when she saw any of her grandchildren! She said to me: "I have him all to myself for awhile". You took the time and care to be with us and please know we will always be there for you and yours. Wishing you much happiness and health - thank you very much! Love, Abood-Garretson & Krager Families

I only met Phil once a couple of months ago, but he really made an impression on me. He seemed to be a kind, genuine person who made me laugh more than I had in a long time. I know he is in a better place and happy now. God bless his family.

I'm so glad we had the opportunity to reaquaint ourselves with Philip after a long while. Phil is finally at peace - REAL "peace that passes all understanding." What a tribute that a simple, wonderful man like him would leave a legacy of love and sincere caring for others as he did. He reminds me of the older generation of men in the Abood family. They have always had the reputation of being very kind.Philip is now with his "Giddo" and "Sitto" who adored him in this life. May his memory be eternal. Love and sympathies to all of you. Aunt Rose Marie

Carol and Family-

I hope you all know how much Philip meant to me and I feel lucky to have known him! He was such a caring, loving and generous person! He had so many struggles in his life and he is now at peace with his Lord! I truly believe that God did not want him to suffer or struggle any longer because he was such a special person! God bless all of you and I will be praying for you and your entire family!!

Love - Sharon
