Ralph Pyle Obituary

Ralph L. Pyle, 89, passed away January 15, 2010 after a long illness.

Originally from Waynesburg, Pa., he moved to Akron to work in the rubber industry at B.F. Goodrich as a tire builder retiring after 30 years.

Ralph enjoyed vegetable gardening and raising game birds for local hunting and fishing clubs. He was always willing to help anyone in need.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Asera Hospice and Altercare of Hartville.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Bonnie; daughters, Myra (David) King and Mary (Jeff) Coles; grandson, Barry King; great-granddaughters, Abbigail and Felicity; brothers, Floyd and Leo Pyle; special nephew, Frankie Pyle; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, January 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Rev.
