She was born Oct. 14, 1936 in Akron to parents, Edwin F. and Alma C. Shadel Luplow, and was retired from Baltic Rubber. She was a member of Baltic United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jack V. Howe, whom she married Oct. 31, 1956.
Funeral service will be TODAY at 5 p.m. at the Butler-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek, with Rev. David Hammel officiating. Calling hours TODAY from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside service Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Fund.
