Robert Fielding Obituary

Robert "Bud" Fielding, of Mogadore, age 83, passed away on October 15, 2012.

He is survived by wife, Betty, of 57 years; sons, John and Jeff; grand-daughters, Julie Fielding and Crystal (Kevin) Lybrook.

He retired with 33 years at Goodyear Tire Test Division, as a master technician. He was dedicated to the development of Mogadore Lions Park for 10 years, worked with Harry Miller in building the Pee Wee football field, member of the Lions Club, and played semi-pro baseball in Akron AA. He coached several church and several little league championships. Bud was an usher at Arlington Baptist Church and a U.S. Army corporal in Korea. He was a dedicated and loving husband and father.

Calling hours will be Thursday, 5 to 7:30 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
