Robert Howd Obituary
Robert Daniel "Dan" Howd, 54, of Atlantic Beach, Florida, passed away March 13, 2007.
He was born December 21, 1952 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Dan was a 1971 graduate of Hoban High School and also attended the University of Akron. He later retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and anything to do with nature.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Howd. Dan is survived by his mother, Mary J. Howd of Barberton; daughter, Roberta Howd of Atlantic Beach FL; son, Michael (Danielle) Howd of Atlantic Beach Florida; grandchildren, Haillee, Kaitlin and Konner; sister, Cynthia Fogle of Barberton; and brother, David W. Howd of Akron.
Cremation services were held in Atlantic Beach, Florida.

I told you the day before you passed how much we love and respect you, this world is not the same without you in it. It feels like a bad dream I'm never going to wake up from, but I do find hope and comfort in the possibility we will see each other again one day. Tell grandpa I miss and love him, too.

I kept my word dad. I took care of you like you did me and my son. I never got to truely thank you. Never too late, thank you ,dad, for helping to bring me in this world and for teaching me the things that make me who I am today.
