To the MacLaren family. I was sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I just learned of it today. Your husband, father, brother, Uncle, and Grandfather was a very good man. Bob and I graduated from Springfield and all of his classmates and friends are going to miss him. He was a good athlete. He was always courteous and polite. The last time I saw Bob was at a Wednesday morning class breakfast at Farmer Boy. You all our in my prayers. God bless and keep you in his divine care.

We are so sorry for your loss. We do not get the paper so we missed the announcement. He will be missed by many. He touched so many lives over the years. Kyle call as he was the one who found out. We started to talk about him, and the boys, (or should I say men that they are now). It is so hard to believe so many years have gone by. Miss seeing you too. We all need to get together some time. love Darlene and the Rose Family

Bob was one of my classmates who stood out to me as a young gentleman, fun, easy going and a great athlete. I always admired his spirit and enjoyed his presence. My mother too came to know him in business years later. The thought of Bob's being gone is shocking for those who knew him as such an alive, active guy - but it surely is so much moreso for his family, wife and those whom he loved. My heart truly goes out to you. My prayers as well. God bless and comfort you.

To Polly and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences to you and your family during this most difficult time. I know first hand what you are experiencing even though the circumstances were different. Bob was a wonderful guy that I have known since second grade at Sayerwood School. He was wonderful friend to all of us that knew him and he will be missed, but always remembered . I grew up with Robert in Sawyerwood and we were friends for 60-plus years. Bob was an All-Metro athlete, but He was an even better person. He was well respected as a teacher, coach and Father. I still remember the rides home He gave me from practice in His old mercury in the early 60's. Our prayers are with His family.
