Rodney Dowdy Obituary
Born in Greenville, Miss., he had lived most of his life in this community. He attended First Apostolic Faith Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Dowdy and Daisy Miller, he is survived by his son, Rodney Dowdy, Jr.; brother, Nathaniel Miller, Jr.; twin sister, Rhody Dowdy, all of Akron; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., with Pastor John Glenn officiating. Friends may call at the chapel on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Condolences may be sent to 65 Byers Ave. #913, Akron 44302. SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO RHODEN MEMORIAL HOME, 330-724-1201
