Rosemary Copen Obituary
Rosemary was born February 18, 1941 in Akron to the late Richard and Dessie (Leneva) Lewis. She retired from Buckeye Abrasives. She enjoyed gardening in her back yard and loved each of her many dogs. She was a former member of St. John Catholic Church where she was active with Bingo.
Besides her parents; she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Patrick) Laman of Copley, Mary Ann (Doug) Miller of North Carolina; a son, Glen of Akron; five grandchildren, Patrick, Christina, Melissa, Douglas, and Dylan; great-grandson, Hudson. She also leaves three brothers, Richard, Thomas, and Frank Lewis.
Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 811 Grant St. in Akron, where the funeral service will be at 9 a.m. on Monday, with Fr. Johnathan Zingalas officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Rd., Independence, Ohio 44131. Visit www.dunn-quigley.com to share condolences.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I have many fond memories of your Mom and Dad and you all visiting our family years ago. My Mom and Dad thought a lot of both of your parents. Your Mom was a wonderful lady and will be sadly missed.

Glen, Lisa, Mary Ann, and families,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's death. I was her social worker at City Hospital's Dialysis Unit before my retirement. I got to know her well over those few years. She was a wonderful, gentle, kind, and thoughtful lady. Your mom and I shared many stories about our pets and how much they meant to us. My prayers and thoughts are with each of you during this difficult time.
