It was with great sorrow that I heard of Shome's passing. I had the great pleasure working with Shome at Fair Housing Contact Service. I will always carry the memory of his kindness, patience and humour. I feel most blessed that his path crossed mine, if only for a short time. He will be missed but remembered. I will keep you all in my prayers as I know this time will be difficult.

My condolences to the family for the loss of a good man and dear friend. I only knew Shubrata Shome for a few years, but in that time I grew to admire him. We had many good discussions. He will be missed.
I will cherish the memories of him. God Bless and keep you all through these troubled times.

As close as we are as friends, God is closer than a brother. Even though a time such as this is difficult, learning how to permit the Lord to live up to His promise can bring the comfort you seek. You are continually in my prayers.

Shubra, Suranjan, Carla, Sujata and Rajiv -
Steve and I and the entire Kun family feel so blessed to be apart of your loving family. We have known you all for about 10 years now and have a great respect for each of you.
Words cannot express our sympathy in the loss of Shubrata. Simply put, our hearts are broken. He was such a gentle and kind man who touched us all. He had a great love and pride for his family which showed everytime we were together. We will miss seeing his always smiling face and having our chats with him.
We are glad your family has had these last 5 years to be together and live so close to each other. Shubrata enjoyed his grandchildren so much. How lucky Owen, Maya and Ava are to have these memories of their special Dadu. May God Bless you all.
We love you.
