Stephen Daykin Obituary
Stephen R. Daykin, 52, of Rittman, died at his home on Monday, May 18, 2009.
He was born September 7, 1956 in Euclid, Ohio to Robert and Peggy (Kunz) Daykin and was formerly employed at Babcock & Wilcox Technologies. He was a 1974 graduate of Charles F. Brush High School and received Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree from The Ohio State University. He was a member of the OSU Alumni Association.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa (Lack) Daykin; his children, Daniel S. Daykin and Sarah Daykin of the home; a brother, Kevin (Margaret) Daykin of Mentor; sisters, Katie (Pat) Flanagan of Cuyahoga Falls and Sharon Daykin of Northfield. His parents died previously.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, with Sister Joan Rader, O.P. officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for his children's education. www.gillmanfuneralhome.com
