Wow I have been wondering where Steve has been , and I am very saddened of the news I just heard. Mr. Eremich was a frequent shopper at Acme 6 where I came to know him. I also came to know that I had went to school with his sons, Gary, Jimmy, and daughter Linda. My deepest condolences to all of you. Your Dad was a very kind man and always invited my family to come to his church, I only wish I had gone. God bless all of you

I grew up in Greentown living next door to Steve and his family. He was truly a character with a lot of personality!!! I have nothing but the fondest memories of Steve. I am sure the angels are singing right along with him right now!! He was a great preacher, he always made my family feel welcome at his church (sometimes even making us stand for introduction to the congregation!!!). He was Dad to many, and friend to all!!
He will be missed!!

As I look over the guest book and read the things written about Dr. E, there are many things that flash through my mind as well. The serious advice of not standing beneath a ceiling fan when Jesus comes for us in the rapture. The "anonomous" phone calls and messages left on my answering machine. The ornery looks. My favorite picture of Dr. E is him sitting on a motorcycle. It will now have a special place on my wall. And now, the video tape of him performing my wedding with Terry will be looked at over and over. I am not sad because I know he looked forward to this day. All those who believe in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ will be united with Dr. E and I'm sure he has that welcome all planned out!

Uncle Steve is truly going to be missed. From discussions on who can make "the better chicken paprikash", to the Pittsburgh Steelers. One thing for sure, Uncle Steve loved the Lord and he is now in glory along with dad, singing and rejoicing, praising Him forever! We will miss you until we see each other again! To all of Steve's family: My husband Jim and I extend our sincere sympathy, and prayers...
We go back quite a few years to a time when Steve sang with the Sunrise Quartet, and good fellowship... He conducted the funeral of my dear father, and Steve, as pastor, had been so kind to him. We appreciated that very much. When diagnosed with cancer, my father had been practicing a song, "Going Home," that he had planned to sing that Sunday at the Highland Park Bible Church, and he did sing it that very Sunday. What a testimony to his faith, and to know where he was going. Steve preached the Gospel...

On June 17th Steve sang with the angels, "this is the day that the Lord has made, I will be glad and rejoice in it!"

Steve,Pastor, Dr. E, Itch,Kid dixie, Dreamy, and so many other names he was known as, was more than just a friend to me and jason he was our best friend, he was our pastor, mentor, he was a 2nd dad, a grandfather to my children, our joke teller, our shoulder so many times, and our ear. He gave the best gift in life,he led our family to the Lord. His life was so amazing, it is in that we rejoice. Every day our life changed once he was in it, there will never be another Steve. We have never met someone who would not eat alone, I suppose that's why he took food everywhere he went, and to anyone who would accept his hotsauce, chicken paprikash, stuffed peppers, sausage, of course fresh bread, tomatoes, and more.We cannot wait to get to glory and sit under the fruit tree with him and talk again. We will miss the everyday phone calls to joke, vent, chat about the bible,or him just yelling at us, but I am so glad Steve can finally chat with Jesus face to face. My heart and prayers goes out to Moya momma-Debbie, Steve loved you so much, and to all his family.

Steve is a great man of God who was always there when a need arose. His life is and was an example of the living faith and word. He touched my life in many ways, He was and still is an example of how to live as a man of God. I loved him as a father and will dearly miss him for now till I see him in heaven. Love Jack

My heartfelt condolences to Debbie and all the Eremich family. Steve was a wonderful man. He had a magnetic personality and used this gift to spread the Gospel of Christ wherever he went. Steve taught me how to be bold when talking to people about Christ. Steve was instramental in leading many people to the Lord. In our younger years we teamed up many times to pass out Gospel tracts in Kenmore and downtown Akron and also at the Summit County Jail Services with Bill Denton. The Sunrise Quartet was a great hit to many people. Steve loved to sing. He also loved to go fishing. He and Vic Frang and I went fishing many time at Portage lakes. Steve always preached the Gospel, his latest endevor pastoring at the Lake Anna Bible Church. Steve was a personal friend and brother in the Lord. I will miss him. We will meet again some day.

What a wonderful man of God Steve was. His favorite saying became one of our - "I was, but I ain't no more." We'll see you again in glory, brother Steve.

I was only 12 when I first met Pastor Steve at Highland Park Bible. I was invited to visit by Danny Rohler, and the entire Rohler family attended there, as well. That visit turned into a year very quickly, and I remember Steve's fire and passion for the Lord, as he served his God with all of his heart. That time at HPB changed the course of my life with the Lord and I remember both Steve and the rest of the church family there with great fondness.

I know that Steve is with the Lord this moment, and I look forward to seeing him again someday soon.

My thoughts and prayers for the Lord's mercy and comfort are being said for the family. May God use this time of remembrance to bring others to Him.

To All Steve's Family & Friends..

Steve was the best! You could never have asked for a better brother-in-law or friend..We have had over the years many great times together, especially fishing, with Steve catching the little fish.. Memories I will never ever forget..One thing for sure he is now looking into the eyes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, oh what an experience that must be...Finally after 11 long years he's now in "Glory" sitting at the table once again with his brother Jim, Mama, & Papa, and the rest of those who have gone before him...Steve will be surely mssed by all who knew and loved him...Steve knew no strangers...Always I'll remember what he told me: Don't get to comfortable here on earth, we're all just passing through...
Waiting for the day to see you all once again for an eternity..
God Bless You and Yours..
Much Love,

Pam Brubaker

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Pastor Steve, we will miss you but we know you are home now with the Lord. May God comfort Debbie and our friends at Lake Ana Bible Church. I got to know Steve in the past year and the one thing that struck me was how much he loved his church. Know that your friends at Hudson Community Chapel are praying for you. God Bless

Debbie, we feel your loss. Steve was more than just our pastor, he was a dear friend, mentor, and "2nd dad". I know it's hard to feel positive at a time like this, but I know he's with Jesus, and he's sitting under that fruit tree sharing grapes and bread with his parents, brother, my dad, and so many others that have gone on before. Please know that we all love you and are praying for you without ceasing. Please don't hesitate to call if there is anything we can do. We're here for you.

With all our love, sympathy, and prayers,
