Thomas Brescilli Obituary
BARBERTON -- Thomas R. Brescilli, 58, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2013 at Summa Barberton Hospital.
Tom was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and graduate of Barberton High School. He was a professional photographer and owned Brescilli Photography since 1994. Tom was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister.
Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia L. (nee Niehaus); parents, Albert and Margaret Brescilli; sister, Roberta (Jim) Hoover; brother, Perry (Cathy) Brescilli ; mother-in-law, Virginia Niehaus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW, Barberton. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Monday from 5 TO 8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Tuesday morning at 9:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Augustine Church. www.silva-hostetler.com.

The beautiful double rainbow yesterday was a sign from God that Pat has joined you in Heaven. What a beautiful reunion! We were so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. As Ohio State Aerie and Auxiliary officers, we missed him this year at convention and were impressed that he always called us by name.

So Sorry to hear of Tom's passing.....Think its been almost over a half month ago...heard he was bad at Eagles State Convention in June,...but missed seeing him there....I also shared a love for photography and soon became Friends with him,both of US taking pictures at Eagles State Convention over the past few years...I was State Historian for a couple years ,so I wanted to document what went on there too... We always talked daily,I learned from him too, I appreciated him and His Friendship very much...He will be remembered ,but will be missed too...Please accept MY SYMPATHY AT THIS TIME....just now heard of his passing...I had a lot of men,and women sign a poster at Eagles State Convention,Thanking Tom for all he has done for the Eagles thru the years,hope he got it and cherished the Friendships that it represented from our members....Thanks Again Tom...and to your Family for sharing him with us for a While....God Bless U All...Rick Jones....Eagles Past State Officer...and Past State Historian...SEE U TOM WHERE EAGLES FLY !!!!

Pat, Patricia and I were shocked and so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was such a great person. He did such a wonderful job on our wedding pictures. It's hard to believe it was 27 years ago. Take comfort in how many people loved him. Pat and Ken Andrus

I am at lost for words in hearing the passing of Tom. He was my best friend growing up and I will always cherish the memories. They say "only the good die young" and Tom was one of the good ones. God bless you and keep you my friend.

Tom was and "is" a great friend. He faithfully faced the challenges that God presented him and always laughed about what is was. He kept his hope for a cure and always kept us laughing about all the old, silly and goofy times. We always counted on Tom to be there for us and are comforted that he is looking out for us from above. We need that Tom and thanks. :) Buddy, now you are pain free and can take awesome photos in the best place a soul can be. Looking forward to seeing those "pics" when we meet up again.

We are heartbroken to hear of Tom's passing. He was one of the most friendly caring people that we have ever known. He always went out of his way to help others, including us, and kept pushing along even after his diagnosis. He will be missed. Our deepest regrets and sincere sympathy to you all.

He was always a pleasure to be around

Tom was a good friend of mine since grade school back in the 1960's. He was in my wedding party back in 1979. He was wonderful, kind and extremely considerate person always putting himself second to help another friend or loved one first. He will be missed deeply.
