Thomas Capaul Obituary
Born in St. Paul, Minn., Tom graduated from The University of Minnesota in 1965 with a Mechanical Engineering degree, and retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in 2001 after more than 35 years of service.
A loving husband, father, stepfather and grandfather. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia; daughters, Lisa (Damon) Hopkins and Angela (Matthew) McCarl; stepchildren, William (Ellen) Anderson and Julie (Michael) Magons; and eight wonderful grandchildren, Danielle, Kelsey, McKenna, Christopher, Corinne, Jocelyn, Natalie and Andrew; also surviving siblings, Leonard (JoAnn) and John (Linda Bathel) Capaul and Mary Kurth, all of Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday Sept. 30, 2009, 10 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1686 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd. Interment at Copley Township Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY, 3475 Copley Rd., on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.

To Family and Friends of Thomas,
So sorry to read of Thomas' passing. How his life touched so many. I have found comfort from God's Word in John 5:28,29 where Jesus Christ promised a resurrection. As Ruler of God's Kingdom he promised to restore the earth to a Paradise where all our loved ones can live in true peace and happiness forever as recorded in Psalms 37:10,11,29. Since God is not the cause of bad things such as sickness and death as shown at James 1:13, we can be sure He will give us all the comfort we need in times of stress and mourning. My prayers are that you will receive the needed comfort now and days to come.
