Thomas Worner Obituary
CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Thomas W. Worner, 80, passed away February 1, 2018. He was born in Harrisville, Ohio and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 58 years. Thomas was a 1955 graduate of Franklin High School in New Athens, Ohio going on to serve his country in the U.S.M.C. He retired from Leaseway Trucking after 27 years of service. He was a member of the V.F.W. Mains Post 1070 and had a passion for golfing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret; children, Kim, Kelley and Ken (Tara); grandchildren, Kylee, Kaden, Kameron and granddogs, Brutus, Brady and Baxter.
The family would like to give special thanks to his hospice nurse, Gretchen.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve 317 South Ct. St. Medina, OH 44256.
