As the third anniversary of your death approaches I can feel my pain and sorrow slowly emerging, I cannot stop it! I laid awake until 4:00 A.M. two nights ago thinking of the last few days leading up to your death. I love and miss you so very much mom. You were the most natural thing in my life, my heaven on earth and losing you is the most unnatural feeling I've ever had in my life!

I certainly do hope and pray I will see you again. If not, its been a hell of a joke played on us all!

Love you to the moon and back! Your daughter, your baby girl...

Yes we wanted her to remain with us without any suffering or pain. Often its not what we want but what God wants. That is why God is Still In Control. We believe that Cousin Veralene is now at rest, no more suffering or discomfort. We will continue to remember the love, life and now the legacy of Cousin Veralene. I shall remember her love of family and the hugs she would give. Her beautiful smile and that warm embrace. Although she is no longer here in person, her spirit lives on. I will miss her at the reunions, and cherish passed memories.

We love you and miss you!
Love,
Darrel & Karen Peaks

Sending my condolences to the Malone family. Ms.Veralene and her family was spoken highly of by my Mother, Christine. I got the opportunity to speak with her on one occasion and she was a joy to talk to. I can credit Ms.Veralene with my ability to do hair because she taught my Mother many years ago and she then taught me. Just speaking to my grandmother a few days ago before I knew of her passing she referred to Veralene as "such a nice woman". My prayers to the family.

To Alicia and Donzella

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel after hearing of the passing of my dear friend. I'm so glad I had a chance to visit with her in the nursing home and in the hospital before she went home to be with our LORD and savior JESUS the CHRIST. When she saw me her eyes lighted up and she tried to talk to me but I couldn't understand what she was saying. I was able to talk to her, pray with her and even sing to her. I met Vera while working at the United States Postal Service. We became good friends and she was one of my favorite people. I had the pleasure of experiencing her kindness, zest for life and advice. We shared many good times together.
I will miss her. She lived her life. She's now in the arms of our Lord and savior JESUS the CHRIST. The word says absent from the body present with the lord.
Knowing Vera she would want us to celebrate a life well lived.
I will never forget Vera!
I am praying for you family.
GOD BLESS YOU!
LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU ALL

To The Family of one of my mothers dearest friends, Ms. Veralene Malone,

Words cannot describe the sorrow that I feel in the passing of Ms. Veralene. I was just thinking about her when I heard she was hospitalized here in Akron, and I thank God thank He gave me the opportunity to visit with her before her passing.

Ms. Veralene was always a classy lady with a beautiful heart. I always remember her coming by to visit with my mom, Inez Brown. She was one of the few people that could get my mom to enjoy life, and for that I am forever grateful.

I send prayers of condolence, strength, and comfort to your family. She was the type of person that once you met her, she would be forever etched in your heart.

God bless you all!
