Vicki Redovian Obituary
Vicki Redovian, 57, passed away too soon on September 30, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Scher-messer Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Akron, OH 44319 (SR 619). Family and friends may call on Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to the Grandma Sockie Scholarship Fund, C/O Schermesser Funeral Home. I worked as a diet clerk at Barberton Citizens with Vicki. I left in 1987. Vicki was a hoot and a delightful, wonderful person. I remember when Michael was born on January 24th. He was Vicki's light of her life.

There are no words good enough to describe the beauty of Vicki. She was such a fun, giving, loving, unselfish, and an amazing person I am so glad that she was my friend, and I will always remember her beautiful smile. I will never forget the love and care she gave to Chasity. Heaven just keeps getting better and better. She now has amazing power and will continue to take care of her family from above. My deepest sympathy to her family.

My heart dropped today when I read the ABJ. I could not believe what I was seeing. Such a caring, fun loving, full of life person was gone. Even tho its been quite a while since I have seen any of you, I still remember all the good times. Soooooo many of them!! I have run into Vicki a handful of times thru the years, and she was always the same as the many years before. Always happy and glad to see you. I can't imagine the hurt you all are feeling right now, but please know that those of us who knew Vicki, whether from yesterday or years ago, are also feeling the loss of such a special person. I want to wish Vicki's family and friends love and strength with the loss of my sweet friend. I will miss her laugh, smile and crazy crazy happiness! Vicki was a mentor to me as a dietetic student and dietitian, she was wonderful. I will miss her so...I know she is shining on all of us today, without suffering.

This beautiful and ever so smiling inspirational lady is now in the arms of The Lord and surrounded by the glorious choir of angels . They are now rejoicing her wonderful heavenly life that she shared so unselfishly with everyone here that she knew . How very blessed are the ones that shared her love and kindness as they will have her and all the memories forever in their hearts. It is those she left behind that mourn but Aunt Vicki is now at peace with a smile and twinkles in her eyes. May God give you each peace and much love at this difficult time. Dear Greg, Mike, Cathy and Greg and family. My deepest condolences on the loss of Vicki. What a loss to all of us, but I feel so blessed to have had her in my life thru the good and bad early years with us Kenmoreans. She will always have a special, special place in my heart, because it was Vicki who stepped in and accompanied me into the delivery room when I was having my youngest son Buck, because Doug was "on the road" and couldn't make it home.
