William Callaway Obituary
William E. Callaway Sr. "PaPa" "Bill" went home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2014.
He was born on July 31, 1954 to Walter L. Callaway Sr. and Mary V. Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter L. Callaway Sr.; grandparents, John T. Smith Sr. and Lois E. Guin; and brother, Johnny Smith.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, mother, Mary V. Callaway of Akron; son, William E. Callaway Jr. of Maryland; brothers, Walter L. Callaway Jr. and Ricky Callaway, both of Akron; sisters, Sandra (Leonard) Zanders of Akron, Annette (Willie) Little of Akron, Brenda (Lewis) Brown of Massillon, Ohio, Deborah Callaway of Akron and Mary (Charles) Guthrie of Akron; special friend, Wanda Jean of Akron; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home. Family will receive friends from 12 until time of service, Pastor David Nelson officiating. Condolences can be sent to 1101 Palmetto Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306.
