William Conzer Obituary
Conzer
William L. Conzer (Mr. Bill) passed gently into the open arms of God surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Aug. 1, 1926 in Uniontown, Pa., but was a lifetime resi dent of Akron. He served nine years in the U.S. Navy dur ing World War II and Korea, and was a member of the VFW Wadsworth Post 1089. He retired from Sinclair Valentine in 1991.
Preceded in death by his moth er, Mary Conzer. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Craig Postal, Carla (Jim) Kraus, Clark Postal; and four beautiful grandchildren, Rachel, Aaron, Leah and Hannah Kraus. (Each was his favor ite.)
His wonderful sense of humor, his gentle strength and his uncon ditional love for his family and friends will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the friends whose caring and support was greatly appreciated during his long and courageous battle with cancer. Thanks also to the doctors and staff in MICU and PICU at Akron General Medical Center.
There will be no calling hours per his request. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at 1 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery. Me morials may be made to a charity of choice. (HUMMEL WEST, Copley/Fairlawn, A Golden Rule Funeral Home, 330-666-1138.)
