Bill's Family: We just heard of Bill's death this weekend...December 2007. I served with Bill on active duty in the Army at Ft. Knox, Ky, Ft. Sam Houston, Tx,and at William Beaumont Army General Hospital, Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX. Sandy and I got married when I was at Ft. Sam Houston. Bill visited our house many times and traveled over to Juarez, Mexico with us on many occasion. We remember the late night yahtzee games. (None of us were too crazy about being in the Army, however we created many ways to make it intesting,) And...we remember Bill's attempt to make chicken and wine sauce...he burned one of Sandy's new pans...and it still has a burn mark on it! Bill we will miss you. Joe and Sandy Blum.

My dearest Bill,
I wish everyone had a chance to experience the special kind of love we shared. As I told you on the day we exchanged vows, I promise to love you until I draw my final breath. I meant it then and I mean it now. I love you with all my heart.

You were a great older brother, a friend and mentor. I have wonderful memories of our childhood together and truly appreciate the way that you looked out for us. I will miss you, your jokes, your actions, and how that you attempted to keep us all in line as you were the older and we had to "respect your authority" I know that I will see you again eventually and that you are having a great time with Dad and Jim. Your loving sister. Ora
