William L.

"Bill" Iorio

William L. "Bill" Iorio, 83, passed away Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004.

A life resident of the Akron area, he retired from Goodyear Aerospace with 40 years service, was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, serving in the European Theatre, and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Barberton.

Surviving are wife of 54 years, Norma; sons, Mark (Barb), James, Jeffrey (Alda); daughters, Christine (Floyd) Carder, Patti Iorio; grandchildren, Heather, Nicole; brother, John; sister, Dorothy Romito; brother-in-law, Richard (Elaine) Hamilton; and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. He will be missed as much as he is loved.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church of Barberton 636 W. Park Ave., with Rev. Reford Nash officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visita tion Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home. In lieu of flow ers, memorials may be made to the church. (Campfield-Hick man-Collier, 330-745-3161.)
